The Loyal Taping!!
November 7, 2007My Unforgettable day with Criss and his Family goes like this....
I just have to say that Sunday November 4th 2007 will always be remembered as a very special day in my life! First let me start by telling you all that I made a very special gift for Criss' Birthday. I did a drawing of his Beautiful Daddy!
I made the long drive to Vegas with my friend, Ann. I brought this drawing, the one I did of him (in hopes of getting it signed) and a Birthday card, with a Lolly attached (hehe!) After meeting my friend Loyal Natalie
We saw JD and his Mom
I just figured that since this was NOT an autograph signing, I was worried I wouldn't get the chance to meet Criss, so I decided I would give the drawing to JD, so that I was sure Criss would receive it. I showed it to him, and got a very wonderful response from him. He brought his Mom over to look, along with his Aunt and Uncle. They were so very kind to me, and JD wanted to take pix and film me with them and the drawing!
They were all so wonderful, and I'm so very glad they liked it! JD wanted me to hold onto it and give it to Criss personally and he wanted to film his reaction, so he asked me to hang around… Later, Criss came out and I took a couple pix with my digital cam, and some with my cell. He looked amazing as you can see!
In between takes of filming, he walked into the store and filmed some stuff in there. JD brought me over to the front and asked me to wait, then Criss came out to the crowd again and spoke to the Loyal some more… and JD followed him out, and asked me and Ann to go with him…he said to Criss that I have something for him, so I took it out of the envelope and handed it to him...(And thanks to my friend Natalie...

Criss really liked the drawing and wanted to show it to his Mom, so he said to me and Ann to go with him into the store. I showed everyone and also showed them my drawing of him, and asked "can you please sign it for me?" So, he was so kind and walked to the counter and signed it!
Afterward, he asked me if I wanted to get a picture with him…he's so amazingly sweet!!! I really do not know how I got through this without fainting! hehe!
After he signed it and we took our pix, I asked Costa for a picture as well…this family is the nicest family EVER!!! hehe
After he was done filming at the store, he invited everyone to the filming at the Ice Center. While there, I took a couple shots while he was skating with the fans…they came out blurry, but you can see they were all having a great time! It was great seeing him have so much fun! When he came out he moonwalked and we felt so lucky to be able to witness it in person! Is there nothing this man is NOT good at doing???
The filming ended around 1:30ish, and as Ann and I were headed to my car, I decided I just had to find JD and thank him again for everything!!! That's when I saw that Criss was signing and taking pix with the people that stayed. So, I thanked them all, and asked JD if I could please get a shot of me with all of them…he is so awesome, the whole family is!
I have to end this by saying the Sarantakos family has made me so very happy …I will be forever grateful to their kindness, forever in awe of Criss' amazing talents…and FOREVER LOYAL!
