Criss' Death Defying Demonstration 11-17-07

Criss Amazes the Huge Crowd Yet Again During his Demonstration!!! And his kindness and Love for the fans is truly AWESOME!!!

I was lucky enough to witness Criss' Demo at the Luxor Nov. 17, 2007. I went with my best friend Ann and my new super cool friend Renee. I have to say a big thank you to them...I love that I got to witness my first stunt with 2 people who really get just how AWESOME Criss is. We had an amazing time. The only thing I did not enjoy was the walk to the site where they had the demo, as I was NOT wearing good walking shoes, hehe. But it was soooo worth it for me. The crowd was pretty large, I think Renee guessed it at around 400 or 500 people. As any of you who have been lucky enough to witness a taping, you are NOT allowed to take pix or video during filming...and I have nothing but total love and respect for Criss and his entire crew...so of course I did not even attempt to take photos or film during shooting. I just watched in amazement and enjoyed the event! I won't go into details about everything he did, but he was hoisted high into the sky inside a metal barrel which was inside a wooden box. I was nervous since it was my first big demonstration. I had my "Believe" key chain hanging from my necklace, and believe me I was praying and rubbing that "Believe" as they raised him up into the air. I held my breath and of course you know Criss is so incredibly awesome and blew the large crowd away. After the stunt was over, we waited around in hopes to be able to meet him, but the crew said he left because he was to be at the Planet Hollywood opening soon. We then headed back to the Luxor. When we got there, I suggested we just head to the Production office to see if maybe he was there...plus I wanted to take some pix in front of the Store. Afterwards, as we were headed out, Renee spotted some of the crew with cameras in hand. We then ended up at the Aurora. Turns out Criss was doing some closed set filming there. We got to watch through the glass wall as he filmed in there. A small crowd began to form, and the crew very nicely asked us to step back. I have to hand it to Criss' crew, they have such a tough job and I have nothing but total respect for them! After Criss was done filming, they said "Ok, we're not filming anymore, so you can take all the pictures you want" That was great news for us, cuz we waited very patiently. The lights were very very dim, so we weren't able to get great pix...but after some time, he finally came out of the room and started saying Hi to us. Criss is so incredibly sweet and amazing...here he just finished shooting, and was to be at another event very soon, was running late, but yet he still tried to meet the fans and signed some autographs. When he came up to where I was standing, he said "Hi how are you" (and mind you I had to be reminded that he said that to me by Ann and Renee, as I was nervous, hehe) and I hugged him and I think I said something along the lines of "You are so awesome!" hehe...and out of nowhere, I just said "I'm the one that did the drawing for you" (I feel so lame now that I said that, but I was hoping if he remembered me I would have the nerve to ask for a picture with him, hehe... Well, according to my friends (thanks again soooo much Ann & Renee) they said when he first saw me, he looked as though he knew me and was happy to see me, before I even mentioned who I was, hehe. I don't know what it is about Criss that makes me so nervous, cuz he's a total sweetheart. So, anyway, after I mentioned who I was, he very kindly said "I remember you" Omigawd, now I'm feeling like a total fangirl at that moment, hehe...I then said "Can I please get a picture with you?" And he said of course do you have a camera ready?" So, I handed it to Renee,and she took the shot for us. (THANKS RENEE) I just thanked him again, and gave him a big hug. I wanted to kiss him on the cheek, but chickened out and just touched my cheek to his as I hugged him ;-) He is so amazing!!! Here he is running late and he STILL takes time for his Loyals.....man, Criss himself is very LOYAL to us. After he walked away from me, he headed down the ramp and along the way he was doing some quick hellos and thank yous and autographs. Then, he headed off to Planet Hollywood. I am forever grateful to Criss and his entire crew for a most memorable experience. Ok, now what you've been waiting for...the pix. Now remember, the room was dark, so my pictures are dark, and these were all lightened as much as possible. These are from when he was still in the room which was roped off. His eye looks spooky here, hehe

He is a total Sweetie Pie. I am so touched that he remembered me. I know it was only 2 weeks ago that I gave him the drawings, but he meets so many people, and the fact he remembered me is so incredible. And I LOVE this picture
